OnlyPadel.me · Filth, ranked

Are you
grown up
enough?

This is a comedy site about padel culture. It swears a lot and takes cheap shots at bad players. Nothing explicit — just properly rude.

Padel content your club WhatsApp would mute

The most
honest padel
page on
the internet.

We're not a club. We're not a brand deal. We're the group chat that got too big, saying the things everyone thinks at 9pm on a Tuesday court and nobody says out loud. Filthy, not explicit. There's a difference and we live right on the line of it.

01 — The manifesto

Padel made you
insufferable.
We're just saying it.

Padel is the fastest-growing sport in the country and it has made an entire generation of otherwise normal people extremely tedious at dinner parties. OnlyPadel exists to point that out, loudly, while also being one of them. We love this sport. We also think you should be mocked for how you play it.

01

We say the quiet part

Every padel WhatsApp group has one person everyone secretly wants gone. We name that person. We do not name your actual friend, but you will recognise them immediately and feel a little bit sick.

02

We rank things nobody asked us to rank

Partners, apologies, celebrations, excuses for missing an easy volley. If it can be ranked from best to most criminal, we've ranked it, with confidence we have not earned.

03

We are not a club

We don't book courts, run leagues, or sell you a £200 pala. We're the commentary track. Play wherever you already play — just enjoy the running joke while you do it.

02 — The real glossary

Padel terms,
translated honestly.

The official glossary is written by people trying to sell you lessons. Here's the version written by people who have actually lost a golden point and had to drive home in silence.

Bandeja

A defensive overhead you hit like an offensive one so you can pretend you meant to smash it.

Ego shot

Víbora

"Snake" in Spanish. In English: the shot you'll attempt four times a session and land once, then bring up for a week.

One-hit wonder

Chiquita

A soft ball dropped at their feet. Technically skill. Emotionally, an act of quiet violence.

Petty

Por tres

The ball goes out through the gate and comes back. So does your opponent's confidence, unfortunately.

Rare

Golden point

One point, sudden death, no second serve. The most honest moment in a sport built on shared blame.

Character test

Unlucky

What your partner says after your fourth unforced error. What they mean is a much longer sentence.

Translation needed

03 — The confessions wall

Things we've made up
that are still true.

We're not running a real submissions inbox yet, so nobody actually sent these. They are, however, completely accurate to how everyone behaves on a padel court, which is somehow worse.

ENTRY 001

I called "yours" on a ball I could clearly reach because I didn't want to look bad missing it. We lost the point and the respect of everyone watching.

Submitted by nobody, believed by everyone

ENTRY 002

I've told three different people that padel is "basically tennis but easier" and I have never once returned a serve on the first bounce.

Submitted by nobody, believed by everyone

ENTRY 003

My partner apologised to me mid-rally. We were winning. I still think about it.

Submitted by nobody, believed by everyone

ENTRY 004

I bought the £220 pala before I could hit a single bandeja. It has made me worse. I will not be returning it.

Submitted by nobody, believed by everyone

04 — Power rankings

Padel partners,
ranked honestly.

Not by skill. By what it's actually like to share a court with them for ninety minutes. You will recognise at least three of these and one of them is you.

01

The Silent Apologiser

Says nothing when you miss. Somehow louder than shouting.

Tolerable

02

The Narrator

Commentates your own shots back to you in real time, unprompted, forever.

Exhausting

03

The Line Judge

Every ball is out when it's against them. Every ball is in when it's for them.

Criminal

04

The Coach Nobody Hired

"You want to open your hips more." You wanted to enjoy your Tuesday.

Exhausting

05

The One Who Actually Warms Up

Arrives ten minutes early, stretches properly, plays like a normal person. Deeply suspicious.

Tolerable

05 — Questions, answered rudely

Ask. We've got
opinions.

Is this a real club?
No. OnlyPadel doesn't book courts or run a league — it's a comedy page about padel culture. If you want an actual club with actual socials, that's a different site with a different, much politer front door.
Is any of this explicit?
No. It's rude, sweary and unkind about bad line calls. There is no explicit content on this site and there never will be — the name is a joke about how honest we are about a racket sport, nothing more.
Will you actually make fun of me?
Only in the abstract. We don't name real people — we make fun of types of padel behaviour so specific that you'll assume we mean you personally. That's the format working correctly.
Do I need to be good at padel to enjoy this?
Absolutely not. If anything, being bad at padel is the entire target audience — most of the jokes only land once you've personally lost a golden point in front of people you were trying to impress.
Can I submit my own confession?
Not yet — the inbox isn't wired up. Join the list below and we'll tell you the moment it is, so you can be first to embarrass yourself in writing.

06 — Get the filth

Weekly rudeness,
straight to your inbox.

New glossary entries, new rankings, and whatever confession we've made up that week. No spam, no upsell, no "padel journey" content.

We store your email. That's it. One-click unsubscribe. We're not building a data business, we're making padel jokes.
